Privacy Notice

Last updated · April 18, 2026

This notice covers quarter.tech, the marketing site for Quarter. When Quarter ships a product with user accounts, that product will have its own separate privacy notice.

Who we are

Quarter is the team building quarter.tech and the product that sits behind it. For any privacy question or request, email privacy@quarter.tech. We respond within a reasonable timeframe and always within the windows required by applicable law.

What we collect

When you load a page on this site, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically receives your IP address, your browser's user agent, and the time and path of your request. This is how any site on the internet works.

We use Vercel Analytics to count pageviews. It does not set cookies and does not store raw IP addresses. It hashes your IP into a daily anonymous identifier that is used only to count unique visits.

If you click “Book a call,” you leave quarter.tech and arrive on Calendly, where you may choose to provide your name, email, and a meeting time. Calendly is the controller of that information; we receive only the booking details you decide to share with us.

Why we process this

We rely on our legitimate interest to operate the site, keep it secure, and understand — in aggregate — how people find us. (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f).) We do not profile visitors and we do not use this data for advertising.

How long we keep it

  • Vercel request logs: retained for approximately 30 days.
  • Vercel Analytics: no raw IP address is stored; only daily hashed totals are retained.
  • Any booking information you submit on Calendly is governed by Calendly's retention policy, not ours.

Who else processes data

Two service providers may process personal data on our behalf:

Both operate in the United States and transfer data under Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as applicable.

What we don't do

  • We do not set cookies on this site.
  • We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising, ever.
  • We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16.

Your rights

If the GDPR applies to you, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port the personal data we hold about you, or to object to our processing. Under the CCPA, California residents have equivalent rights (to know, to delete, to non-discrimination, and to opt out of any sale — noting we don't sell data in the first place). Email privacy@quarter.tech to exercise any of these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Changes

We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page whenever this notice changes. Material changes will be called out there in plain language.
